Common Question: Does Mathspace Have a Read-Aloud Feature?

Yes, Mathspace does offer a read-aloud feature designed to assist students who benefit from auditory learning or need additional support with reading. This feature allows students to listen to the text, instructions, and math problems, making the content more accessible.

How to Use the Read-Aloud Feature

  1. Navigate to the question in the workbook.

  2. Enable the Read-Aloud feature by selecting 'More' from the menu, located on the right side of the page.

  3. Once turned on, a "Read-aloud" button will appear underneath Milo chat messages.

This can be especially helpful for students with reading difficulties, dyslexia, or those who are auditory learners.

Currently the read-aloud feature is limited to student preferences. So teachers looking to try or demonstrate the read-aloud feature must first "Preview Student Experience" under their settings to have access to it.

If you have any further questions or need assistance setting up the read-aloud feature for your students, please feel free to reach out!
