The Weekly Insights Report contains algorithms that will go through your class' data for you and surface the most important information you should focus on each week.
Navigating to the Report
You can find the Weekly Insights button at the top-right of your planner page (next to the Create Task button)
Elements of the Report
1. Student Activity
The Student Activity is a breakdown of your students’ level of activity on Mathspace, based on the number of questions they complete. There are four categories:
- No activity - the student has not completed any questions
- Low activity - the student has completed between 1 and 20 questions
- Moderate activity - the student has completed between 20 and 50 questions
- High activity - the student has completed at least 50 questions
2. Top Subtopics to address
This segment easily allows you to identify the subtopics your students are struggling with. You can click on the number of students to see a list of the students struggling at that subtopic.
3. Excelling Students
Excelling Students are those that have mastered at least 3 subtopics in the last week.
4. Struggling Students
Struggling Students are those that are having difficulties with at least 1 subtopic.
5. Top questions to address
This segment allows you to see a list of questions that were most often answered incorrectly by students. You can click on the number of students to see a list of the students that answered incorrectly. You can also try the question yourself.
