To view the beta task report, click on a task in your Planner, and click "View" on the "New Task Report" banner.

If the task has been assigned to several classes, you can filter by the students in a class - by default it will 'Show all classes'.

For a Custom Task, you can also 'Create Task Template' to save this task for future use.

There are two main tabs: Students and Questions.

Students Tab

The 'Students' tab gives you detailed information for each student who was assigned the task. The data can be sorted by clicking on any of the column headers.

What does 'Completion' mean?

Completion gives you an indication of how much progress your students have made in the task.

For an Adaptive Task, this will represent the mastery they have achieved - a filled bar means that they have achieved the level of mastery you had set for the task.

For a Custom Task, this will represent how many questions they have completed in the task.

What does 'Grades' mean?

Grades tells you how many questions that the student has gotten no marks (red cross), full marks (green tick), or partial marks (orange circle).

For a Custom Task, you are also given the number of questions that the students have not yet completed.

What does "Result' mean?

The result is the overall score achieved in the task. For a Custom Task, this will be a percentage mark. For an Adaptive Task, this will be the level of mastery achieved.

What does 'Time Spent' mean?

This is the time that the student has actively spent on the task. If the student goes away and does something else for an extended period of time, it will not be recorded in 'Time Spent'.

What does 'Last Seen' mean?

This is when the student was last working on this task. This is updated whenever a student enters the task, or when a step is entered.

Clicking on a student

Clicking on a student will show the questions that the student has worked on, and their result for each question. You can see all of the questions by clicking 'Show all', and can view their working by clicking on the Scorecard button.

Questions Tab

The 'Questions' tab gives you detailed information about your class' performance on each question. For an Adaptive Task, this will include every question in the subtopic. For a Custom Task, this will include the questions that had been set.

How has my class done in each question?

You can see how many students have gotten no marks, full marks or partial marks for each question. You can also see how many students have not yet attempted that question.

If you click into a question, you will be able to see the names of the students who achieved each result.

You can also 'Try the question' to work on it as the students would.
