How does a student join Mathspace?

For access to the Mathspace digital textbooks, as well as tasks assigned by your child's teacher, they will need a Mathspace login.

  • If your child has a Mathspace subscription through their school, their teacher will either provide login details or a class code to use when your child is signing up or logging in to Mathspace. Please speak to your child's teacher if you have not received this.

  • Students can also sign up for a personal subscription if their school does not use Mathspace. Get started here.

How do parents receive email updates from Mathspace?

Once a student has logged into their Mathspace account, parent emails can be added via student settings.

What kind of email updates do parents receive if they subscribe to their child's Mathspace account?

Parents receive task reminders about work assigned by their child's teacher.

How do parents view their child's progress in Mathspace?

  • If your child is regularly completing Skills check-ins, look at your child's Skills report to see regular growth.

  • To see progress on work in the child's digital textbook, click on the "Textbook" tab, then select a subtopic to see your child's mastery through that subtopic.

  • If your child has a school account, you can also click on the "Past Tasks" to review your child's work on tasks assigned by their teacher.
